I coach female runners toward big goals!
It’s not about how big the goal looks on the outside, the distance, the pace…it’s about how you want to show up for yourself.
It’s not about how far the finish line is from the start or the time it takes you to reach the finish line on race day, but the version of you who shows up at the starting line.
I coach you to show up nourished, rested, and ready because you are standing solid, intentional training instead of feeling burnt out, taped together, praying for a Hail Mary.
As your coach, I will help you:
- Program your running to intentionally progress towards your goal including purposeful miles with purposeful pacing (while making space for “just for fun” runs because isn’t that why we do this in the first place?).
- Program your strength workouts to support your training based on the needs of your body and the season of running (and life) you are in so that you feel strong, powerful, and ready to meet the physical demands of running.
- Help you build a solid foundation for your training through intentional fueling, recovery, and learning how to tune into your body (instead of turning it out) so that you can fully step into your power.
- Ensure each above piece supports the others so that you remain in that sweet spot of training, pushing your edge just enough to make progress while finally escaping the cycle of injury and burn out.
- Support you as a whole human because training doesn’t exist in a vacuum. We will make this all work for your life not in spite of it.
As your coach, I will not:
- Just make you run more and harder. In most cases, that’s the opposite of what you need. I will balance intensity with recovery using the minimum effective dose to start. All will be done with purpose to help you push your edge just enough to make progress while finally escaping the cycle of injury and burn out and preserving the space to keep running fun.
- Judge you if you miss a run. See the comment about supporting you as a “whole human” above. I will however help you adjust your training when it happens.
- Dictate your training to you. Coaching with me is a collaboration. I will listen to your feedback, adapt and adjust based on your needs and wants, and help you train in a way that works for your life. All this centers around you!
